Business are becoming digital as business data processing progressed to business transaction processing and from there to business data analysis in real time giving actionable information in marketing, production and maintenance areas. Thus catching customer attention has become a digital business activity now. Instantly informing a customer order and arranging delivery to the place where the customer is standing also became a digital activity now. Businesses have to adopted digital technology. Hence the role of CDO is evolving and becoming an important executive position in more and more companies.
