Ideas for enlarging the model.

In the intermediate step we can include activities of  Consumers and Social Sector Organizations, Government and Political Parties, Business Organizations and Trade Unions. Thus we identify and brings activities of people in the society into the model.

Bhakti can be interpreted commitment to the society, commitment to the organizations and to the people managing the organizations. Commitment will come only when people take care of desires of other people (stakeholders) apart from their own.

  1. The idea is interesting and workable. Can the scope be limited to say, business. It could lead to self governance where businesses pursue value maximization instead of wealth maximization. Wealth maximization is self destructive, counter productive and short sighted/Value maximization based on Dharma creates long term, productive and self sustaining business models

    1. Thank you for your comments. A self governing system of private business sector can be there. But there will be public sector also. Trade union activity will be there. Government and legal regulation will be there. Social protests/complaints will be there. Media monitoring will be there. To what extent we reduce the model depends on the focus of our there. Similarly to what extent we want to enlarge the model also depends on the bread of the theory we want to develop. I do not know but there Walras' general equilibrium model which is wide in scope I think. We will continue our discussion of the idea for a long time.
